Description:

Our client operates in the self service drinks dispensing sector and operates in a variety of venues and locations within the UK. The Sales Director will be a senior leader in the team with responsibility for driving sales growth in the Region. The role also includes the supervision of field operations (logistics and administration) and day-to-day customer engagement. He/she will engage closely with customers, managing the relationships with existing venues and developing relationships with new venues. The objective will be to build relationships all across the market, build awareness of Ebar and to ensure a strong sense that Ebar is a competitive force in the market The core areas of responsibility will include: • Develop a sales plan, alongside the founder and board, as well tactics, targets and profit goals for the business. • To build proactive relationships across the market • To develop marketing collateral which can support the sales process • Develop relationships with both existing and new customers; to build a pipeline of opportunities • Identify new opportunities in the market. To understand emerging markets. • To represent the business at exhibitions, trade fairs, tender presentations • To build a sales team. The ability to position Ebar effectively • To be a master of the product for when talking to clients • Stakeholder management; To work effectively with the board and management team • To be able to set out a plan and vision for business development • To be an ambassador and role model for the company • Strong commercial acumen • Market analysis • Strong communications both internally and externally • Strong performance and budget management • The ability to work collaboratively with clients and partners • Provide outstanding customer service and to ensure that business does as well • Identity emerging markets and other opportunities Commercial • Develop the breadth and depth of sales within existing and future markets. • Identify new commercial opportunities to increase revenues across the market. • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through working collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement. • Partner with customers to understand their business objectives and maximise sales performance in the most efficient, cost effective and commercial manner. • Evaluate market research, competitor and customer surveys and execute strategies in line with evaluations. • Negotiate, manage, renew, review contracts as required to enable effective trading, operations and customer/supplier relations (SRM). • Maximising company profit, set and deliver forecast, and achieve annual sales targets. • Handling a variety of projects for the business and overseeing project management. • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven landscape. • Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace • Foreseeing and avoiding stagnation in the marketplace • Analyse data, deliver periodic reporting to the sales, design and marketing teams providing key business insights: Qualifications and background: • Bachelor’s degree level qualification • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role • A proven track record • A UK driving licence • Ideally has worked in a business associated with the food and beverage sector, most specifically as associated with: o Stadia operations o Exhibitions centres, concert halls and leading venues o With the leading food service outsource companies o Large scale events and festivals
