This privately owned, high-end boutique style hotel in the Royal Borough of Windsor, has a unique opportunity for an experienced energetic General Manager. The hotel has a small number of elegantly designed bedrooms, a stylish restaurant, several private dining/meeting areas and a large events space. Job Summary Manage all aspects of the hotel operation; this includes reservations, bedrooms, housekeeping, the restaurant and event space, guest satisfaction, revenue management, staffing & employee development, sales and marketing, brand event programme/partnerships, maintenance and other administration needs. It is essential that the candidate has previous experience as a GM plus business development skills in hotel and event sales. This is a hands-on appointment which requires an individual who is able to immerse themselves into this high-end brand and to engage with guests, customers and employees. The role requires a strong focus on inspiring and leading the operations and support teams to hitting targets. The role is full-time, venue based, and the candidate will be required to plan their time/shifts wisely to ultimately support and advance the business. This is a 24-hours, seven days a week operation, and the GM will be required to work flexible hours/days. The ideal General Manager will have the following skills/ knowledge/attributes: • Experience in high-end venues with high-net-worth customers • A hands-on approach and keen to become the face of the venue and part of the local community and business network • Strong financial acumen with a keen eye on figures – both sales and costs • Be commercially aware and have the ability to increase sales and hit revenue targets • Be articulate, well presented, and a strong communicator and leader
